B.E.S.T. Fund Program

The General Santos City Business Enterprise Support Trust Fund Program is the city government’s capital loan assistance mechanism, thru wholesale and retail or direct lending facilities, to cooperatives and micro and small enterprises in order to access fund for additional capitalization.  This provides enterprises easy access to financing, with primary objective of boosting the development of cooperativism and entrepreneurship in the city.

GENC Program

Known as the Gensan Entrepreneurs Collective, is a FREE and upgraded bi-yearly mentoring program for entrepreneurs using the virtual/online application, which covers the following: a) GEnC Webinar Series on Business Development; and, b) GEnC Level - Up Series -tackles the opportunities of Digital Marketing

“Gensan MSMEs: Kaya Natin”

A social media marketing platform through Facebook page created by the LGU in partnership with DTI, DOLE and Negosyo Center to showcase MSMEs products that the public can order and that can be delivered door-to-door or select a pickup point. Created in response to the lockdown which prohibits human and vehicle movements during the ECQ due to the pandemic.

YAMAN Gensan

Negosyo Center General Santos City

Launched on May 5, 2015, the NEGOSYO CENTER General Santos City is a collaboration between the DTI GSC-SMEDCI, and the LGU. Its vision is to provide general business advisory and capability development services to local would-be and existing micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs).

ABOUT US

The Special Projects Division of the City Economic Management and Cooperative Development Office is the livelihood arm of the city with the following major programs and projects, viz;

  • 1 Design and initiate special projects, services or activities geared towards the promotion and acceleration of the City’s economic development;
  • 2 Develop livelihood programs for micro-enterprises which will increase incomes and provide employment opportunities;
  • 3 Development and initiate plans and strategies for Micro, Small and Medium enterprises developments.
  • 4 Perform such other functions as may be assigned or delegated by the Office of the City Mayor.
