Functions:
- Implement and Support an integrated tourism program for General Santos City for Industry Preparation.
- Provide for its tourism growth, in its complimentary and supplementary relationship with the SOCCSKSARGEN areas tourism industry.
- Develop General Santos City as a primary tourist attraction and destination with the goal of promoting investment for the city.

- Take charge of General Santos City's heritage focusing on the preservation and promotion of the rich historical relics, history, culture, tradition, of the tri-people living in General Santos and its nearby environs; and
- Perform such other function as may be determined by the Office of the City Mayor.
